This series of high-voltage vacuum contactors is intended for use in AC electrical networks with a frequency of 50–60 Hz with a rated main circuit voltage of 7.2 (12) kV and a rated current of 160 A to 1600 A. The contactors provide remote switching on and off, and are also designed for frequent starts and control of asynchronous motors, transformers and capacitor banks.
