Vacuum circuit breakers of the CNF series are designed for shunt protection of semiconductor electronic devices. The main contacts of the bypass switch are connected in parallel with the semiconductor device. During normal operation, the main contacts of the bypass switch are open. When a fault occurs in a semiconductor device, voltage is applied to the coil, the main contacts of the bypass switch quickly close, bypassing the semiconductor device and ensuring normal operation of the system. Widely used as a shunt switch in flexible DC transmission equipment.
Design Features
1. Turn-on time ≤ 3.5ms, turn on without contact vibration.
2. Main circuit current - from 400 A to 2500 A.
3. Wide voltage range - from 1.14 kV to 3.6 kV.
4. A mechanical release is provided (switching from on to off), convenient to use.
5. The housing and terminals are made of environmentally friendly and non-flammable materials (UL94-V0).

7. Mechanical locking in the on state after electromagnetic switching on and manual return to its original state.
